Our work
Let's Evolve with CMHEP
Our first project — the Community Mental Health Enhancement Program — began with the Department of Psychology, MES Asmabi College, in collaboration with Sreenarayanapuram Panchayat.
Through its Student Enhancement Program, Kaizen supports students in government and aided schools — building skills, identifying needs early, and helping each child reach their academic potential. The work runs across four phases: training, awareness & identification, accommodation, and intervention.
Project goals
- Build a skilled, compassionate workforce of gatekeepers
- Support teachers to identify and accommodate developmental and behavioural needs
- Early, school-wide screening for academic and behavioural concerns
- Collaborative interventions through Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Skills training that helps each child reach their potential
- Research and continuous improvement
